This statement explains what personal data Texobox collects through texobox.com, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are. We collect as little as we can: the site sets no cookies, loads nothing from other companies, and keeps no copy of the messages you send us.

Who we are

Texobox B.V. is responsible for the personal data described here (the “controller” under the GDPR).

  • Texobox B.V., Johannes Husslaan 6, 1185 BK Amstelveen, the Netherlands
  • Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 90069374
  • Email: info@texobox.com

For any question about your data, email info@texobox.com.

What we collect and why

When you send us a message through the contact form

What: your name and work email address, and, if you fill them in, your organisation, the topic you chose, how you heard about us and your message. Only name and work email are required.

Why: to answer your enquiry and, if it leads to work, to prepare a proposal or agreement with you.

Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible agreement (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). For follow-up after our reply, our legitimate interest in being able to continue the conversation (art. 6(1)(f)).

How it is handled: our form service checks your message and sends it to our mailbox as an email through our email provider, Brevo. The website itself stores nothing: there is no database and no copy on the server. We do not add your IP address or any device details to the email, and we never send a copy or automatic reply to your address.

Protection against spam: to stop automated messages, the form service briefly keeps your IP address in memory while you send the form, to count how many messages come from the same address. It is never written to disk or to a log, and it is forgotten within 10 minutes. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of abuse (art. 6(1)(f)).

When you visit the site: visit statistics

What: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive (for example a search engine or a link), the type of browser and device, the country, and whether a message was sent through the form. Your IP address is shortened by two parts before anything is stored (for example, 192.168.x.x), so it cannot point to you.

Why: to see which content is read and improve the site. The statistics are not used to treat visitors differently and are not combined with other data.

How: we run our own copy of the open-source tool Matomo on stats.texobox.com, on our own hosting. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not read browser details to recognise you. The data is not shared with anyone. The successful sending of a form is counted as an event without any of your details.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (art. 6(1)(f)). Because these statistics have little privacy impact and use no cookies, no consent is needed under the Dutch rules for cookies and similar techniques.

When you visit the site: server logs

What: like every website, our web server records requests in log files: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the browser details your browser sends.

Why: to keep the site running and secure, for example to investigate errors and attacks.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and working website (art. 6(1)(f)).

Cookies

texobox.com places no cookies and stores nothing else on your device (no local storage, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting). Fonts and all other files are served from our own domain, so a visit sends no information to other companies. The visit statistics above use no cookies either.

Links to other sites, such as our LinkedIn page or datasovi.com, take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Who receives your data

We do not sell your data and do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. These service providers process data for us under a data processing agreement (GDPR art. 28):
